Spain, Thursday- Cordoba

Thursday October 14th
Today we took a 40 minute train ride to Cordoba. We toured the Cathedral Mosque, the acient bathes, the museum of archeology, the roman bridge and lots of little streets between. Cordoba is a very old city with roots in the many different cultures that have helped build it. Some streets are so narrow I can almost touch the houses on either side and I am surprised cars still have their mirrors. We tea and desserts in a cute little shop and soaked in some more sun before returning to seville and our hotel. We spent an hour looking for a nice place for dinner (and I discovered that although our right out our front door was great history, right out our back door was great shopping!) before ending up back on our street to enjoy tapas and paella. At dinner we talked to the couple at the table next to us who were from England and swapped stories of our travels in Spain.

It seems to go on forever...
